I recently tried an app and at first it didn't work, so I gave it a poor review.  I later wanted to update my review but found that is is impossible to update, edit, revise or delete reviews and ratings.  This seems to be a miss.  The added experience that I gained from using the app a bit more not only would have affected the star rating, but the update could have provided good information to others considering using the app.
