Viewing and Editing Subscriber Information from within Zendesk Support

Hi there,

I am currently working on building out our Customer Support System using Zendesk and one of the requirements we have is to allow our customer support agents to view subscriber information directly within Zendesk and also be able to make changes to them. For example, if a subscriber calls in to support and asks that their home address be changed, I would like our agents to be able to make those changes within Zendesk itself. Is there a plugin or 3rd party platform that can integrate with Zendesk like that? The main goal is to ensure our agents don't have to open multiple sites to make changes to a users data.

Hi Aabid, what's your system of record that holds customer information? There are some CRMs that have integrations with Zendesk that might allow you to do that, and if not, our Apps Framework could allow a custom-build solution:

We are currently evaluating Segment (By Twilio). I believe that does have an integration with Zendesk though it may just be an iFrame. Do you recommend any good tools other than Segment?

Hi Aabid Siddique

I have seen several Zendesk accounts use Salesforce for their CRM of record. There is an integration that exists for Salesforce <-> Zendesk for tickets and user info. I'm not sure if it does everything you're asking but it might work well for you!
