Export all end users

    Welcome to the Community, and thanks for the fantastic question. There are three options available for you to export a list of users from your account, which I've listed below. 

    1. Use the Zendesk Rest API Users endpoint to capture the list of users from your account.
    2. For Support Professional and Enterprise plan, export users in XML or JSON format. For more information about exporting data from your Support account, see the article: Exporting data to a JSON, CSV, or XML file (Professional and Enterprise).
    3. Accounts with the customer lists Add-on can export their user list in a CSV file.

    I am looking for a way to export all users // and organisations separately to csv or xml that includes the primary and where listed the secondary etc. telephone numbers.

    The standard options above do not export this information which for the task i am currently undertaking in the number 1 piece of information.

    Reading through the suggestions here it seems the only way is via the User endpoint API, is this correct?

    @... Great question, and super super close: It's confirmed that Full User XML export will export only primary numbers, but for gathering all phone numbers linked to users, our List Identities endpoint here will be just what you need.  When entering a specific user ID, the List Identities endpoint will retrieve all contact info associated with that user, both primary and secondary numbers.

    Devan - Community Manager I confirmed that I do have the professional subscription but I do not have a "reports" option under my tools in admin center.  The API options mentioned talk about IMPORTING but I need to EXPORT my end users to capture email addresses.  What am I missing?

    Based on Exporting data to a JSON, CSV, or XML file, you need to request for the data export to be enabled on your account as it's disabled by default. I went ahead and enabled the option for you.
     
    If the option is still not available, coordinate with your admin to whitelist your domain on the allowed export field.

  • Any news on this? We really want a csv export of all our end users with phone numbers. Both primary and all secondarys. We found some apps on the marketplace, but that only include the primary number.

    Is there any way we can get this?

    The only way to export the user data you're looking for is through the XML or JSON format. Currently the CSV export only includes ticket data. As Devan mentioned above, the only other option would be to use the API Users Endpoint if you have a developer available to help with this.
     
    I'd also recommend you share your feedback around including this data in a CSV format under our Admin Center Feedback topic as our product managers actively monitor that space for user suggestions.
