Update Automations Inteface to be inline with Triggers

Posted Jul 26, 2021

Hi,

I adore the Triggers UI - it's easy to use and the Categories have been super helpful.

However, it highlights how aged the Automations UI has become. It would be great if the Automations interface could be more inline with the Triggers interface.

Best regards,
Stephen

Hi there, thanks so much for sharing your feedback! @... is right, the same team owns both Triggers and Automations, and we definitely have plans for improvements to the Automations UI. We have been prioritizing some much-needed infrastructure work, but stay tuned for changes to Automations a little further down the line. Thanks again!

Hello, Zendesk folks.

I don't know why Zendesk is super slow to implement changes. I understand that there are things that are on the top priority, but if I say in regards to this particular change, technically it is now Sept 19, 2024, and it started on Jul 26, 2021. It's been almost 3 years and 2 months for grouping the automations just like triggers.

Hopefully we will get this soon.

Best regards,

Shivam

Any hints on when this might be available? The Automations UX is inconsistent and quite annoying.

+1 to this! This is just a matter of prioritization as the same team that works on Triggers also works on Automations.

Just came on here to ask the same thing, it's really difficult to find custom fields when creating automations. Would be great if it was like the trigger creation page.
