Need to map fields from Jira to Zendesk and Zendesk to Jira

I have created a custom field 'Related Environment' in both Jira and Zendesk:But the field does not appear to available to map in either direction?
Please advise as I really need to have these fields map.

Hi Trena,
It looks like your "Related Environment" ticket field in Zendesk is a multi-select field, which unfortunately cannot be synced with JIRA via our integration. A (single-select) drop-down field could be synced, however. For more information on the supported field types, see Using the Jira field syncing feature, and for more information on custom ticket fields in general, see Adding custom fields to your tickets and support request form

trena, in a case like yours, i would probably go for another type of solution - a custom one. i would suggest next time you try a different approach and deploy a connector that will handle all the integration processes, like mappings, etc, for you. i'm sure you've researched the topic, however, i'll share my experience with a tool called zigiops. it's a bi-directional tool that has helped me a lot with jira-zendesk integrations.
