Hi CLAPs Inc!
I see that this is your first post. Welcome to the Zendesk Community!
Can you tell us any additional detail about why you need to be able to respond to YouTube comments or how it would work? Would you want them to come in via a ticket? How big a part of your business is this?
If other users would also like to see this sort of integration, please up vote CLAP's post and add any details you can share in the comments below.

Youtube is a key SNS these days.
Companies are creating their own Youtube channel and communicate through Youtube videos.
I think this feature is necessary.
Perhaps develop it under the category of 'channel'? and receive it as a ticket?
Please update if there's a plan to develop!

Hi Donghyun,
Check the Utickets integration. Free YouTube integration which seems to work pretty well.

Hello, @...
Thanks for your comment.
I did, however, it did not work on my end.
Would there be any guidance regarding U-ticket integration?
I followed all the steps from the 'how to install'
Regards,
Donghyun

Hello Donghyun Lee, I followed the steps of the app and it worked. Did you add the details of your YouTube channel?

Hi @...,
Yes. I tried adding the channel ID as a whole address https://youtube.com/user/farland001
and just adding farland001 to the channel ID.
However, the ticket did not create in my Zendesk instance.
I created a view just for youtube channel with the following condition:
Status - New
Channel - Utickets
Am I doing something wrong here?
Appreciate your support.

Hi Donghyun Lee,
No, you need to enter the channel ID, see here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3250431?hl=en

I agree, the need to integrate Youtube channel is a necessity as companies are now creating their YT channels for product marketing. It would be helpful if comments from Youtube channel would flow in Zendesk as tickets so agents can respond to it.
The U-ticket however, is not working on my end as well.

Uticket seems pretty nice, but how i can put the video title in the ticket form? the app descrition says that this is possible, but not how. Thanks!

Hi All,
Public Social PM here, just saying hi and would love to work with some of you to build up these use cases so we can review this as a channel in the future.
Let me know if you would be interested in chatting?

Hi,
My company is interested in this integration as well. We prefer to use Zendesk and not 3rd party app for this kind of integration. In my opinion, to have this channel is a must.
Regards,
Anastasia

Chris Drylie we would be interested, currently using Wistia. I'm curious if using the video embed button in Zendesk Guide brings in youtube video metadata for seo?

Would love to see a Zendesk + YouTube integration - we'd prefer not to use a third party app.

There have been two or three Marketplace apps that have tried to fill this niche, and none of them seem to work anymore.
Chris Drylie, it's surprising that there isn't a first party channel integration for YouTube, yet. I'm not sure what use cases need to be proven at this point. There have been existing (and now defunct) integrations that have existed for years, but they are all a single point of failure from smaller developers, so when their servers stop working, or they don't have time or resources to dedicate to maintaining API changes between providers, it leaves Zendesk's customers in the lurch when a part of their business depends upon being able to maintain communication in as many channels as possible.
We are a software company that posts tutorials and other educational content on our brand channel, and people will ask questions that our support staff needs to be able to respond to from a single, central location. All we need is new comments to create a Support ticket and then for our responses to be threaded as a reply, and any subsequent replies to be appended to the existing ticket. If you need more info, please reach out.

Hi All,
Hope you are all well.
Thank you for showing interest and letting me know you would be happy to chat about a youtube integration, I have reached out to everyone and can't wait to hear back from you.

As a Zendesk Admin I would really appreciate having this functionality, just as a Facebook, Twitter or Instagram integration:
- Any comment on a video creates a ticket in Zendesk Support.
I'm available as well to chat if necessary.

Is there any update on that matter?
Last week I received an email from Video Comments Application Pro Team (Zendesk Applications) saying that they are about to release a new improved version of Video Comments (UTickets) for a nominal fee of $19.99/ month.
Is there still a chance that Zendesk offers a 1st party channel integration, like Instagram Direct or Facebook channel?

Hi everyone,
As Alex mentioned, the new Video Comments Pro Application is now live on Zendesk Marketplace, it allows you to seamlessly connect your Youtube channel in a few minutes.
