Zendesk Support for JIRA - reverse link/creation of tickets
I know how to create, or link to, a JIRA ticket from within Zendesk. But I would also want the option to do the reverse, either be able to create a Zendesk ticket from within a JIRA issue, or at least link an existing JIRA issue to an existing Zendesk ticket from within JIRA.
A lot of our teams main workflow is within JIRA and Slack and not through Zendesk, so being able to share a Zendesk ticket number in a discussion on Slack and then having the team member link from JIRA to the Zendesk ticket would be very beneficial.
Thanks for the feedback! We've received this feature suggestion a couple of times before and its on the backlog as a candidate feature for the Jira integration.

This really would be a useful feature for engineering teams who need to assign something for support to work.
Unfortunately there's no update on the progress and we don't currently have this on our roadmap. I've noted that you've followed up about this feature and captured it against the feature request.
Would also like the ability to link existing Zendesk ticket with a Jira from within a Jira ticket.
