Forget Password Email Does Not Include Link

Several of our end-users are unable to reset their password. Scenario: 

  1. Select Reset Password on Sign In page 
  2. Enter email 
  3. Receive a welcome email with no link to reset their password.

It seems that some receive the welcome email/issue while other end users are just fine and receive the reset password link. 

Have anyone run into this issue and how did they resolve it?

Hey Ifra, thanks for the link. Yes, I did. It does not answer my question. 

End users are receiving the email but the link within the email takes them to the Sign In page and not the password reset page. So they cannot create a new password, they are just back at square one.

Okay, can you please share more details like issue exists in Guide, Talk, Chat, etc. ?

Any chance the users getting the "welcome" email, show as having not verified their email in the profile? That seems like it could potentially be a culprit.

Hey CJ,

Thank you for the guidance. Verifying their emails helped solve my issue. Steps (in case someone else runs into this issue) 

  1. Sign in 
  2. Navigate to customers 
  3. Search for the user
  4. 'Edit' 
  5. Select drop-down next to Primary Email 
  6. Select Verify Email
