+1 for a feature to disable the translate bar.

We pay for a third party app for our translation services. Our agents tend to automatically use the Google Translate bar instead of our third party service, because of the placement of the bar and the persistence of it. We need to be able to encourage our agents to use the third party service we are paying for (and prefer) by disabling the out-of-the-box translate bar.

    +1 on this one

I am also very worried that out customer's PII transact via Google Translate. Do you know where can I find this clause in the Zendesk GTC's/Privacy Policy?

+1 for a feature to disable the translate bar.

We support in English or German. The translate bar is useless in 99% of the cases, it blocks screen space for nothing.

    +1!

As with the above, we use a third-party software for translation and feedback from the team is that the new agent workspace interface is very short of space, so anything we can do to reduce that clutter by removing redundant tools would be an improvement

We are 100% English - sometimes this pops up randomly with obscure translations.

    Keen to turn it off.

Adding my vote to let you know that my agents hate having to close the translate box on EVERY ticket.  Adding this type of feature should also have either a global setting or a setting on the user that allows us to permanently turn it off if it is not needed for our line of business.

+1 Agree. It seems random when it pops up.

Agree that this feature should be possible to disable.

It should be possible to disable if one has a privacy concern regarding the translation. Also, since the feature isn't available across all channels, it should be able to disable if one instead wants to use a third-party translation service.

+1 Agreed - there should be an option to disable this feature.
