Salesforce for Zendesk App - how to display all Account related Contacts & Role

Hey there,

we're setting up the Salesforce App in Zendesk at the moment. We do the lookup via a custom ticket field which contains the Salesforce Account ID. We're able to display information from the Account & related Opportunities.

But for example on Contacts, it shows only those who are direct contacts for the specific account. Our expectation would be that all related contacts are shown, regardless if they're direct or not

Besides that we're wondering how to make use of Contact Relationships in a meaningful way, so that for example we can display the Role of the contact in the Account

Hi Hans,
 
At this time the integration is only able to show direct contacts from SFDC, and is unable to pull all related contacts associated with an account. That said, posting here is a great place to start re. feature requests, as ultimately posts with high upvotes are often considered for future dev.
 
Re. using Contact Relationships in meaningful ways, while we're not able to advise on custom workflows here, I would recommend checking out our full resource page for the ZD/SFDC integration here. That should give you a good idea of the integration's capabilities and how you might be able to use its feature set.
