Using Data from Webhooks in Custom Fields

Is there a way to add data from a JSON GET response to a custom field? We use a 3rd party integrator to process orders. A link is generated when creating the order, which is present in the JSON response, however I can't figure out a way to insert that link into a custom field for the agents to see.

This is very close to what I'm looking for. I'd like to use a "GET" call to retrieve a link from third party (not Zendesk), then add that link to to a custom text field.

So we can find the best solution for your scenario, can you let me know a bit more detail about how the 3rd party will integrate with Zendesk tickets i.e when is the order created within your workflow and how does the order get linked to a particular ticket?
