How Can I get ZD to Remember the Tickets I Had Open After Being Logged Off?
Every time I log back in all the previous tickets I had open before are gone , except for one and I have to search through my notes and find out what tickets I was following before and type them in the search bar to find them and open them again.
This is excruciatingly inconvenient. No bookmarks , no memory except when hovering mouse over the + add buttons but this doesn't find all the previous ones before.
Even searching my name for ones I was CC'd on doesn't list them all.

Why are you logging out? I would just minimise the tab.
I use Zendesk Quicktab - Chrome Web Store (google.com) so that all my Zendesk tickets are at least in the same Chrome tab, this might be use to you.
You could set up a Personal View which lists tickets you own or are cc'd on or alternatively a dashboard where it lists your recently worked on tickets.

the logon seems to be timed , so eventually, or the next day, I have to logon again. Yes the mycompanysupport.zendesk.com is one tab but the tabs on that zendesk page are never persistent meaning you have to search and open them all up again the next day.

Ah yes, for security reasons the "logged in" cookie expires overnight so you will need to login each day.
You would need to think up of a way to identify these tickets, be it by way of a tag or something you set on the tickets, then create a View to pick them up. Or set up a Recently worked on Dashboard.
Otherwise I just look at Tickets Assigned to me and go from there.
Sorry I can't offer any more appropriate advice,

Why can't a feature be added to Zendesk for this? With Jira I can have every case open in a separate tab to keep them all open. I can't even do this with Zendesk.

Are there any updates to this? I still can't find my tickets I had open the previous day unless I physically make a. list of them and then type them again again to search for them.
I can't believe Zendesk is the only software that still does not keep track of what you work on from session to session.
