Pasting images when making new ticket requests

Answered

Posted Aug 29, 2022

Hi,

Is it possible to make pasting images straight to attachments when making new requests?
Like when I have an image in the clipboard, I can just CTRL+V in the web ticket form and it automatically attaches it as attachment?

Now our end users have to save the file to disk, then drag the file onto the Attachment field or click on it and then select the file.

Hello!

I'm afraid this is currently no possible. At this time, there's no workaround available to give users the ability to add a file directly from the clipboard when submitting a request via the Help Center form.

But I agree that this would be a useful addition to improve user experience in the Help Center. If you have time, I encourage you to create a new post in the Feedback - Help Center (Guide) in our community to engage with other users who have similar needs and discuss possible workarounds. Conversations with a high level of engagement ultimately get flagged for product managers to review when they go through roadmap planning. Specific examples, details about impact, and how you currently handle things are helpful for our product teams to understand the full scope of the need when working on solutions.

Thank you!

Hi Gab,

Thanks for the reply.
We've already fixed this in the meantime.
We tweaked the code of the theme and now we can paste directly into the request form.
