Default uncheck "requester can see these comments" during merge

Comments from merged tickets are public by default. I would like the ability to make them private by default to save my agents from having to uncheck two check boxes every time there is a merge of tickets.

      Unfortunately, Zendesk has stopped replying or updating on these threads, so I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for this feature. :\
