How to send WhatsApp messages past Facebook’s 24 hour limit and how to start new WhatsApp conversations?

WhatsApp can be a powerful tool for any organization to stay in touch with their clients. However, many Zendesk users wish to be more proactive. As is, Facebook does not allow companies to respond to Zendesk notifications after a 24 hour limit. This makes customer service more difficult for many companies. For instance, if you are a smaller organization that does not have staff to work customer service on weekends, you may not be able to respond to your customers’ needs within 24 hours. 

Another issue that many businesses face is the inability to start their own, new WhatsApp conversations. Being able to start WhatsApp conversations unlocks great potential for your business to have an open line of communication with your customers. This can be important for confirming meetings with clients, sharing about new products, etc.

Luckily, Respira Internet has developed a WhatsApp connector that allows you to send messages after the 24 hour limit and allows you to start new WhatsApp conversations with your clients.

 

How it works

By combining the power of Sunshine Conversations with that of WhatsApp, we have been able to get the most out of what WhatsApp has to offer. The connector uses the Sunshine Conversations API to send the notifications and the Zendesk API to create tickets, update views, etc. so your agents can see what is going on directly in Zendesk Support.

With our WhatsApp Connector clients can:

  • Send WhatsApp messages past Facebook’s 24 hour limit

  • Send bulk WhatsApp message campaigns to customers
  • Use Triggers, Macros and Automations to efficiently send out automatic WhatsApp notifications

Our connector can currently be found in the Zendesk Marketplace. As the connector relies on Sunshine Conversations, it is required that you have an active Sunshine Conversations license.
