agent workspace newest comments on the bottom?

I would like to see a way for the latest comment to be at the top of the flow of comments.  

Is this something others have expressed a concern about?

Zendesk tried to implement it based on the "read" status (whether anyone has opened the ticket since the message was sent), which is not something that anyone has asked for in any posting listed here, doesn't work, and as far as I can tell, nobody has said they actually want, and I for one expressly do not want that solution, but looks to be the only solution they are considering. 


EDIT: And before someone at Zendesk tries to correct me that I'm confusing which message the ticket automatically opens to, and the order of the comments in the ticket, I'm not, Zendesk has repeatedly squashed these completely disparate topics together and closes out threads on one, into the other, and have repeatedly pointed me to that feedback thread when I've asked about the comment order. As far as I can tell, Zendesk thinks that if the ticket opens to the "right spot" we won't care anymore about the comment order, therefore it's one solution to two problems. This is not a correct assumption and also frustrates me with this feature requesting process.

In Zendesk Community forums, the default behavior typically displays comments in chronological order, with the oldest comment appearing at the top and the newest at the bottom. However, you can adjust this display setting to have the latest comment appear at the top instead.

As for whether others have expressed concern about this, it's possible that some users may prefer having the latest comment displayed first for easier access to the most recent information. This preference might arise in cases where the community is particularly active or where the most recent responses are often the most relevant.

Zendesk also periodically updates its platform, so it's worth keeping an eye on their announcements and updates to see if this feature becomes available in the future.
