Making public ticket comments searchable

Is there a way to make the ticket comments searchable?  Our team is always putting a keyword in the search and it only seems to search ticket subject not the comment section.

By default we do search on the comments of the ticket, not just subject. It may be though your results are much further down the page, or a subsequent page so you're not seeing them.

You could try searching like this instead which would only search in the comments, and see if you get a better result:

description:keyword_goes_here
