The AI Agents Advanced (Ultimate) 'Sources' option is not available when using AI Agent from within the Messaging widget in Zendesk

When testing AI Agents Advanced bots via the Ultimate web interface, we see ‘Sources’. So the user is able to verify the information that the AI Agent has given, by clicking on the ‘Sources’ links.
However, when doing the same thing in the AI Agent via the Messaging widget in Zendesk, the ‘Sources’ option does not display.
Via ticket 13337836 we have confirmation that this working as designed. There is a feature disparity between the Messaging widget and the Ultimate widget used within the dashboard for testing AI Agents.
There is a workaround suggested, which is to set up a dynamic carousel based on the dataSources
parameter. Steps on how to achieve this are outlined here.
Via ticket 13337836 an internal Product Feedback request has been raised to ask for a more straight forward approach to display sources for end user's when a uGPT reply is triggered.
This Community Post is raised to note this and allow others vote for a more straight forward approach to enable a ‘Sources’ option when using AI Agents from with the Messaging widget in Zendesk.
