It would be amazing if we could override the 12 views limit in the sidebar, we can fit more there and it's a shame that we can't use that space when we need it.

Zendesk is putting all their time into developing new features that have to be paid extra on top. Even more with the new owners.

Thank you all for the continued feedback on the community and beyond. I understand this is a frustrating limitation and we are continuing to work through this in phases.

Well, this thread has been open since January 2020, and as some have pointed out, there is another thread discussing the same topic dating back to 2017. To be honest, I'm uncertain whether the feedback from the community is truly appreciated and if you understand the level of frustration caused by this prolonged delay. Judging from the sentiments expressed in this thread, it seems like many people share this feeling of frustration and dissatisfaction.

 I understand this may not be in the time frame you all want but we are making progress but this is all planned and being worked on in addition to all the great Zendesk functionality. 

You already mentioned on April 30, 2021, that Zendesk is actively working on this feature. It's true that at that time, you indicated that it wouldn't be available in the near future. However, it's been an astonishing 25 months since then, and we are left wondering whether Zendesk will truly deliver on its promise within the next six months. The uncertainty surrounding this timeline is disheartening, to say the least.

In the meantime, developers in this thread have graciously offered a free extension to address the issue. It might be worth considering reaching out to them for assistance.

Zendesk costs a significant amount of money, but these basic, important, and promised functionalities are just not working (or are being ignored). This goes beyond mere frustration...

Thank you all for the continued feedback on the community and beyond. I understand this is a frustrating limitation and we are continuing to work through this in phases. The first phase where the shared Views increases to 30 shared and 10 personal will be released by Q4 this year, this will not include nesting yet. The Beta has gotten us great feedback and we are working on that. We also have more coming in 2024 with accessing more views beyond those 40 and helping you all organize those views in a way that is more in line with your organizations and workflows. You will start seeing some of those change H1 2024. I understand this may not be in the time frame you all want but we are making progress but this is all planned and being worked on in addition to all the great Zendesk functionality.

It is really annoying that only 12 Views can be shown...

Is there any update on the "planned" feature? It is planned now for 3 years. If you don't want to fix this, don't mark is as "planned".

Clock is ticking .. hopefully the dev work from Zendesk is on track with releasing either view nesting or removal of view limitation.

Hey Yosef Cohen - I just wanted to take a moment to applaud you! 
You created an app that solves a major pain point that many Zendesk users struggle with. And doing it for the cost of nothing! You and the team deserve all the praise and recognition for your work.
I haven't used the app yet, but look forward to trying it out.

This (free) version is only meant to solve Zendesk 12 views limitation. It enables you to quickly find your view by its name/assigned group/both and we hope it would be 100% sufficient for most companies who are struggling with navigating between the different views like ourselves.

Thank you for the option. But we really do not want a top menu drop-down. We need a full screen views dashboard similar to LovelyViews, with left-hand navigation. We have over 100+ views now.

ZenViews is very much legit.

To answer your questions:

  • We're a group of developers (Israel) who spend much of our time using Zendesk and this functionality was crucial for us. After we built it for ourselves, we figured more people could use it. For Free!
  • We've updated ZenAppsFactory website's Terms and conditionsPrivacy policy and Cookies policy
  • As for ZenViews - we do not store data on our servers. We currently don't even use cookies. There are no calls from the app except for Zendesk View API to fetch the view list. The magic is all client-side.
  • Though it's always good to be safe, kindly remember that Zendesk carefully reviews each app, its code, and its legitimacy before approving it and uploading it to the store. Not that it's bulletproof but it feels close.

Yeah, it might be a really great tool (one can only hope), but lots of red flags here. Another thing to note is that one of the 5 star reviews are from themselves. Big no-no to review yourself like that.

So if it indeed is a legit tool, don't be discouraged by this negative feedback. Just understand that you're dealing with lots of sensitive data and you've set yourself up as a very unaccountable person/company.
