We’ve heard your feedback and recognize a clear need to elevate your Zendesk Community experience. In the coming weeks, we'll migrate our community offerings to a new platform and offer new ways to learn from the deep well of knowledge across our user base.

What you can look forward to with this change:

  • A smoother experience: We’ll be moving our community (including our forums and groups/events) to a single new platform, with intuitive navigation and more contextual experiences, and bringing everything together in one place.
  • Better networking: We’ll bring together discussions and virtual events for our User Groups, keeping the discussion going long after the live discussion ends.
  • Customizable notifications: When you sign up for our new community, you’ll also be able to set notification and subscription preferences, building your own personal digests.
  • More to come: We have a suite of new features we’ll be announcing in our next update, and throughout 2026!

What you need to do

As we migrate, we will move:

  •  Your account details, including your username and profile info
  •  Your network, including the User Groups you belong to and your active subscriptions
  •  Your contributions, with all active discussions moved and attributed to the right users

For those who are being migrated, you'll receive an email with instructions for accessing the new community and completing your profile.

What’s next? On March 20, the current Zendesk Community will go into a read-only mode. This means that although you will still have access to the community, you will no longer be able to post or comment while we migrate to the new platform.

The new community will go live on April 7. At that time, you’ll be able to sign in, set up your new profile, and join the party!
