Is using an email alias, distribution list, or Google group as a support address supported?
We do not support the use of aliases, distribution lists, or Google groups at this time. We highly recommend the use of standard emails over these options to ensure maximum deliverability of your emails.
However, you still have an option to connect them if necessary.
To connect them, do the following:
- Ensure your email forwarding is set up correctly.
- Go to Admin () > Channels > Email > Add Address.
- Use the "Connect Other" option at the bottom of the menu.
If you choose to use these options, please keep in mind that Zendesk will have very limited ability to assist in troubleshooting any issues (due to being unsupported), so please proceed at your own risk.
