How do I change an end user to a staff member?
Answer
If you have an extra agent seat, you can upgrade an end user to an agent.
To upgrade an end user
- Search for the end user in Zendesk Support.
- Open the user profile page and under User type select Staff member.
If the user is already logged in, they need to refresh their browser to see the changes.

Hi there, will it automatically reflect an incremental number of agents under my subscription as i am converting a end-user to an agent?

Hi Nicolas!
If you change an end user to an agent, it will take up one of your agent licenses. If you don't have an available agent license, you will need to either demote a different agent, or add another agent license to your account first.

thank you, i actually tried few minutes ago and since we require an additional agent license, i was directed to the account subscription to add an agent license.
