How do I update the credit card on file?
Answer
Only the account owner can update billing information. If you are unsure of who the owner of your account is, see Who is the owner of my account?
To change your payment method
- In any product, click the Zendesk Products icon (
) in the top bar, then select Admin Center. - Click the Billing icon (
) in the left sidebar, then click Payments.
This page shows your current Payment Method and Business details. Business details include the address where your business is physically located.
- Next to Payment method, click Edit.
- Next to Payment method on file, click Change to enter your new payment information. If you don't see this button, your account may not support self-service payment.
You can choose Credit or debit card or PayPal. For all other types of payments, contact your account representative or contact Zendesk Customer Support.
- Enter your payment information, then click Save.
Note: If you have a managed account, please reach out to your account manager to make any changes to your billing settings.

I am the account owner, and I can't seem to find the settings mentioned in your help article to update my cc info.
What can i do?
Hey there!
It's possible that you have a managed account, which means that you would need to contact us directly to get that information updated.
Just submit a ticket to support (if you haven't already), and they'll get you in touch with the right folks to help you. :)
I have done all of this and my new credit card is being declined.

I have tried updating the card details on our subscription and I am getting an error:
"Our credit card processor encountered the following error: [430285] Not authorised. Your credit card has not been charged."
Why is this happening? please advise.

It looks like you've reached the wrong company! Zendesk makes software for other companies to organize their customer support processes. We provide the software to them, but we don't support the products or services they provide to you.

Are you using Zendesk Support or Zendesk Chat?
If you're using Chat you'll want to navigate to account.zopim.com and you'll then choose Settings>Account>Subscription. I've attached our Zendesk Chat billing FAQ for additional information. If you don't see the option to update your CC can you provide a screenshot of what exactly you see on your end?
