The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a European privacy regulation that aims to strengthen the security and protection of personal data in the European Union. To be compliant with GDPR, Zendesk has made adjustments to the behavior of Zendesk Insights when you delete a user.
If you delete a Zendesk user, whose name was previously part of the results of a report that used the Tickets dataset, the following attribute labels now display SCRUBBED instead of the users name:
The Ticket Submitter Name label of the Ticket Submitter attribute.
The Ticket Assignee Name label of the Ticket Assignee attribute.
This new behavior replaces the temporary changes we made in May 2018. These changes replaced ticket submitter names with the ticket submitter ID in Insights, to protect the privacy of the user.
