The global search feature in Sell allows you to easily search the data that you’ve added to your account.
When you click into the global search field, you’ll first see a list of the items you have most recently visited. This gives you quick access to what you’ve been most recently working on.
You can search any keyword (for example, the name of one your deals or contacts) and you can further refine and filter your search results.
The search attempts an exact match and also uses tokens generated by splitting searched query into smaller chunks to find relevant content.
You can see all the search results for the keyword you entered and you can additionally choose to view search results in specific categories. These include All, Deals, Contacts, Leads, Notes, Tasks, Documents, and Appointments.
To search the data in your account
- Click the global search field in the upper right corner of Sell.
- Enter the keyword(s) that you want to search for. All of the Sell data that contains the keywords is displayed (this includes any custom fields you’ve added to your Sell account).
You can also optionally choose to see only the search results that are relevant to you (the deals that you are the owner of, for example) by clicking the Only show results owned by me check box.
