Hi, why can't a contact have a source?

I enter a source to a lead, convert it and the info is lost. ok taken over to the deal, but why not to the contact card?

the field does not even exist by default in contact cards...

thank you for your opinion, best regards, Diana

Hi Diana! I see that you were able to post your feedback on the Lead Source functionality on our Product Feedback Forums (Link to Feedback), so thank you for that! At this time, this field moves to the Deal - as you mentioned, so our recommendation is to create a custom field for Contact, and update that information - if you would like to see it there! See: When I convert a lead into a contact, what happens to the source field?

    Helllo,

How can I import new leads with the source field? Like in the example that you have, I've created a column with the Source IDs I have in Zendesk but when I'm importing them, I do not see the Source field. How can I do it?

    Hello Atzel,

You can add a column called "Source" in your file and then you can map it to the source field during the import. You can check the screenshot for an example:
