Can a password reset affect my support address? Will tickets stop being created? Does this process work differently with the google connector or the connect external address option?
Answer
This works slightly differently based on which kind of support address you have.
Google connector
If you change your email password, you will need to navigate to Admin Center, open the Support addresses page and click the Reconnect button next to the appropriate address. Once reconnected, emails will create tickets again in your Zendesk.
Other external address
If you change your password, you will need to verify your forwarding by going to Admin Center, open the Support addresses page and select Verify forwarding next to the appropriate address. An email will be sent to your Zendesk account that asks you to verify the address. You will need to click the link sent to approve the request. Once completed, this issue will be fixed.
