Our widget shows our support number and we do not want it shown. How can I prevent it from being displayed?
There are two options if you would like to remove your contact number from the Web Widget:
If you do not want your customers to see your number, but you still want them to be able to request a callback you can configure that in your settings. Navigate to Admin Center, go to Talk settings, select the Widget tab and go to Contact options under your widget settings, from the drop-down select Request a callback. This hides your number but still gives the customer the option of requesting that your support team call them back.
- If you do not want your customers to see your number and do not want to direct them to the Talk channel, then you can disable Talk for your widget. This is done by going to Admin Center, go to Web Widget page, selecting the Customization tab, and toggling the Talk slider to the off position.
