You can edit the details of your deals to, for example, update the value, win likelihood, and estimated close date.
To edit a lead or contact
- From the Deals page, click the deal you want to edit.
- Click the Edit button that appears next to the name of the deal.
- Update the deal details as needed.
- Click Save.
You can also delete a deal in edit mode by clicking Delete this deal. You can delete multiple deals in one step using bulk delete. For more information, see Deleting deals.

Hey,
is there any way to clear the date in the "deal closing estimate" field? When I try to clear the field and save, the date goes back to its previous value.

Hi Nilton, thanks for your question. Unfortunately, it is not possible to save the date as blank once it has been entered. The deal cannot have an empty closing date. It's crucial to keep Sell reporting consistent and give better, reliable future insights based on historical data.

how do I change the deal ownership if the deal has not closed? there doesnt seem to be a way to do this.

Sell users with the proper access permissions (see Editing user permissions in Sell) can change the owner of a lead or contact. This can be done one at a time or in bulk.
