With the Sell mobile app you can create deals on the go. Managing your deals directly from your mobile enables you to capture activities in real-time, providing you data insights such as deal stage duration and conversion rates.

Converting a lead into a deal

By converting a lead into a deal, you are creating both a person contact and a company contact from the details of the lead.

To convert a lead into a deal

  1. Go to the lead page that you want to convert to a deal.
  2. Click Convert Lead.

    The Create Deal field toggles to "on".

  3. Enter a name for the deal and choose the pipeline.
  4. Click Convert to save.

Adding a deal to an existing contact

You can easily add a deal to a contact directly from the page of the contact.

To add a deal to a contact

  1. Click Contacts, then click the contact page that you want to add the deal to.
  2. Click Deals ().
  3. Click Add (+).
  4. Enter a name for the deal, the value and any other information.
  5. Click Done to save.

Creating a deal from the Today dashboard

You can create a new deal from your dashboard.

To create a new deal

  1. Click the Today page (your dashboard).
  2. Click Add (+) to create a deal.

Managing deals

You can move a deal through the various stages of the pipeline directly from the Deal page.

To move a deal to the next stage

  1. Click Deals, then click the deal you want to manage.
  2. Click the Details tab.

    You'll see a slider with the current stage name beneath it.

  3. Drag the slider to the right to move the deal to the next stage.

    (Alternatively) You can change the stage by clicking Edit and selecting a new stage.

Adding and removing associated contacts to a deal

You can add contacts that are associated with the deal, to the deal.

To add an associated contact to a deal

  1. Click Deals, then click the you want to add an associated contact to.
  2. Click Contacts.
  3. Click Add (+) to add an associated contact to the deal.

    You can create a new person or company, or choose from existing contacts.

  4. If you’re adding existing contacts, use the Search field to search for the contact you want to add to the deal.

    (Alternatively) You can scroll to find the contact you're looking for.

  5. Select the checkbox to the right of their name.
  6. Click Done to save.

To remove a contact from a deal

  • To mark a different contact as the primary contact, or to remove an associated contact from the deal, swipe left on the contact's name.

Adding products to a deal

You can add products to a deal and set the deal value to equal the summary of all the products by clicking Set as Deal Value.
Note: This feature is only available on the two highest Sell plans.

To add products to a deal

  1. Click Deals, then click the deal you want to add products to.
  2. Click on Products ( ), then click Add (+).
  3. Select a product, then edit the selling price and quantity.
  4. Click Save.

You can manage your products to update or remove them by clicking on them.
