How do I get support from Zendesk?
You have options when you need help from the Zendesk team. Pick the option that works best for you.
- Option 1: Search the Help Center and ask other Zendesk users in the Community
- Option 2: Get help with urgent or simple but time-sensitive issues via widget
- Option 3: Get help with non-urgent or complex problems via web form
Option 1: Search the Help Center or ask a question in the Community
The Zendesk Help Center is built and managed by a team of Zendesk experts, and our Community is monitored and moderated by real Zendesk users just like you. You can seek the help of these experts by posting in the Community or commenting on an existing article or post. For instructions, read this article: How to comment on an article or post.
Option 2: Use the widget
When you need urgent help or have a simple question, use the widget. For the best experience using our widget, sign in to your own Zendesk product or the Zendesk Help Center. Once you're signed in, you'll be able to get personalized answers and access any unique entitlements you have with Zendesk Customer Support.
- In any Zendesk product, click your profile avatar in the upper right-hand corner
- Click Get help
- You'll be greeted by Z Bot, a chatbot that can provide personalized answers to your questions about Zendesk, generate answers from our Help Center articles, and even automatically complete some common tasks. For best results, follow Z Bot's prompts to click the right option.
When prompted, phrase your question or issue in a complete sentence. If you read through Z Bot’s guidance and still need help, click No, I still need help to begin connecting with an agent.
Z Bot may ask you a few more questions to help route your conversation to the right person. You'll receive responses from the agent in the conversation you opened. If the conversation needs to become asynchronous, you'll be notified by email when there's an update from the agent.
Option 3: Use the web form
When you have a complex question, a non-urgent question or issue, or you'd just prefer to contact us asynchronously, use the web form.
To access the web form
- Sign in to the Zendesk Help Center by clicking Sign in in the upper right hand corner of this webpage
- Select Submit a request from your profile menu
- Choose the Customer support request form and fill in the fields with your details and information
Zendesk Customer Support will review your new request and reply through email. Read and reply to our updates through your inbox, or view and manage the request in the Help Center under My activities > Requests:
