Question

It's been two hours after my data updated in Analytics. The documentation states that it syncs every hour on my plan. Why did that not happen yet?

Answer

Data refresh intervals for analytics depend on your plan. In Professional and Enterprise plans, Analytics data refreshes one hour after the most recent sync ends. The start time is random within that hour. In some situations, a data sync can take more than two hours to finish. If the earlier sync also took a long time, data can take up to four hours to appear in Analytics.

For example, if a ticket updates in a sync:

  1. At 1 pm, the sync starts
  2. At 1:30 pm, the ticket field value is updated
  3. At 2 pm, the sync ends. The ticket field value is blank in Analytics because the ticket updated in the sync.
  4. At 3 pm, the second sync starts
  5. At 3:45 pm, the second sync ends, and the ticket field value is now visible in Analytics.

The last updated timestamp in the query builder refers to when the last data sync ended. For example, if a query shows it was last updated 30 minutes ago, that means the last sync ended 30 minutes ago. Updates from the last 30 minutes will appear in the next data sync.
