I want to get a list of users in Zendesk Support. How can I download my user information to share outside of my account?

Use basic data export
Basic data export functionality is available to these Support and Suite plans. An account admin or custom role with export permissions can export a list of users in the XML or JSON format. Agents can only export users with the API. Download the file and manually filter it with software like Excel or Google Sheets.
Verify your plan against these plan requirements. If your plan allows exports, yet you do not see the Reports option, contact Zendesk Customer Support to request the feature.
Use an add-on
Accounts that purchased the customer list add-on can export user lists in a CSV file. This feature targets groups of users and includes the information of your choice in an export. Use the customer list add-on to export enhanced user list views, customer segmentation, or to schedule exports.
- Enterprise Plans: Exporting CSV files from customer lists requires a custom role with the CSV Export permission enabled
- Contributor Role: The Contributor role is a viewer-only role and does not support CSV exports. To allow an agent to export lists, they must be assigned to a Light Agent role or a custom role with export permissions.
Use the API
The REST API Users endpoint is available to all Zendesk accounts. The API gives you flexibility and control, but requires the assistance of someone with basic knowledge of code. If you have developer resources on your team, the API is a good option.
Use the Marketplace
Explore third-party alternatives to install from the Zendesk Marketplace, for example, the Advanced Search Plus app. In that app in Support, use the * search parameter to return all Users.
