Can I cancel my Zendesk Support account while also maintaining my associated Zendesk Chat account?
Answer
No, if you cancel your Support account there is no way to separate the Chat account that is associated with it. To subscribe to a stand-alone Chat account, cancel the Zendesk Support account, and then start up a new Zendesk Chat trial.
Note: This does not apply if you set up the integration by linking an existing Chat account to a Support account. If you are unsure which version of chat you have, see this article: Determining your Zendesk Chat account version.
