We are excited to announce that you can now easily rename media (images and article attachments) in Guide media library.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What's changing and why?
With the release of Guide media library, our customers gained account-level visibility into all images and article attachments used in their knowledge base. For some customers, the increased visibility made them realize they have a lot of files with names that were not very meaningful. To help our customers get the most out of their library, we’ve now added an option to rename media from within the Guide media library.
How will this affect me?
You can now easily access a detailed view for each of your media in the library. This view displays information about the media file, including file name, size, and where it is used. From there you can quickly change the name of the media you are working with and use it from now on (for example, in your media search).
What do I need to do?
You don’t need to take any action. Renaming media in the Guide media library will be available for all plans. If you want to learn more about it see Working with attachments in the media library and Working with images in the media library.
