Agent permissions ensure that agents only have access to the Tymeshift features they need to use. When you set up your account preferences, you can allow or restrict access in a way that reflects your organization's structure and access management system. Specify different permissions for your agents, team leads, admins, managers, or other roles.

Setting agent permissions
You can set or edit permissions that allow agents to access certain Tymeshift features. To help navigate the Agent Permissions page, you can filter the agent list and agents will only appear within their default group.
To set agent permissions
- Hover over the admin icon, then click Agent Permissions.
- Click Agent Permissions.
- Enter an agent's name in the search bar.
- Select or deselect the features you want that agent to access.
Assigning roles to agents
Creating and assigning roles is helpful when you're organizing agents. To assign a role to your agents, click the No Role dropdown button on the top left and select one of the roles from the list. If you haven’t created any roles yet, you can still define each agent’s permissions here by selecting No Role.
