Add-on | Workforce Management (WFM) or Workforce Engagement Management (WEM) |
To track your agent activity accurately, make sure that all agents have allowed or added an exception for third-party cookies in their browsers.
This article describes how to manage third-party browser cookies in Google Chrome. Zendesk WFM works best with the Chrome browser; however, you can use Zendesk WFM with other browsers and edit their third-party settings.
Editing third-party settings for Chrome
You can allow third-party cookies in Chrome. However, keep in mind that this is a browser-wide setting and could have security implications. Alternatively, can also set up your browser to make an exception for Zendesk WFM.
Below are instructions for both options.
Option 1: Allowing all third-party cookies
To allow third-party cookies across the whole web, including Zendesk WFM:
- Open Google Chrome’s settings page (chrome://settings).
- Click Privacy and security.
- Under Cookies, deactivate the Block third-party cookies option.
Option 2: Adding an exception
- Open Google Chrome’s settings page (chrome://settings).
- Click Privacy and security.
- Under Cookies, click Allow > Add or Manage exceptions (depending on your Chrome version).
- Enter [*.]zendesk.com to allow cookies for both Zendesk and Zendesk WFM.
