This article describes how to add custom hashtags to comments in Zendesk QA. Using custom hashtags helps you find conversations with specific tags later and report on them in the dashboard.

Navigating to hashtags
To add custom hashtags to comments, you first need to navigate to the hashtags section in Zendesk QA.
To navigate to hashtags
- Go to Users and Workspaces.
- Choose a workspace.
- Click on Hashtags.
Adding and managing hashtags
Once you are in the hashtags section, you can add new hashtags, restrict your team members from creating new hashtags, and see how often each hashtag is used.
To add and manage hashtags
- In the hashtags section, click on Add New Hashtag to create a new hashtag.
- To restrict team members from creating new hashtags, toggle the Restrict Hashtag Creation option.
- Review the usage statistics to see how often each hashtag is used.
Note: The hashtag must be used in a conversation for the filter to display it.
