I received the following message in my account: Your automated resolutions usage data was adjusted due to a temporary reporting error. What does it mean?
Answer
A temporary technical issue affected the count of automated resolutions (ARs) in some Zendesk accounts. During the impacted period, you may have seen inflated automated resolution usage in Admin Center and received early usage notifications, such as 80% or 100% of your allowance. This is a reporting issue only and does not impact billing.
If you see this message, your account was impacted, and Zendesk already reviewed and corrected your usage data for you.
What it means for you
- No invoices were impacted.
- You were not charged for any inaccurately reported usage.
- Your usage records have been corrected to reflect accurate automated resolution counts.
What Zendesk did to fix this
- Reverted the underlying issue that caused the incorrect usage counts.
