Custom Lookup Fields export with their record ID instead of the value when export views

I created a custom field that does a lookup to the Organization.  Sometimes for example we have internal tickets where the requestor is from our Org but it's for work for an external client so we need to track both.  This is fine but when an agent exports a view the Custom field exports the Org ID and not the org name.  This number is meaningless to an agent since they obviously need to know the Org name.  I can understand when doing an API export and importing to a database that joins the records on ID but for an Agent view this value is useless unless they want to manually cross reference the ID back to the org each time which is cumbersome and adds extra steps.  In other systems I've worked in there is usually a way to export either the record ID or the value.  I know you can run a report but why not have this ava in Views?  This seems pretty obvious.  When I export the out of box  Org lookup field it exports the value and not the ID.  So why not on a custom lookup field?  Support told me this isn't even on the roadmap.
