Disable text on web widget ( classic ) launcher

It would be nice if we could hide the text on the web widget (classic) launcher via widget api.

      Unfortunately, there hasn't been any changes that allows that type of specific customization. I would still recommend creating a custom launcher and then perhaps creating a handler function to dynamically change it to fit your needs.

      We are getting complaints about the launcher text as well.  Has anything changed in the last year that allows us to disable it?  I have gone and removed the text from the “Style” section on the widget settings page but it is still showing.  

       

      Our customers have complained that it appears too often.  When they click the close icon, it re-appears the next time they visit the page.  If there's a way to make it appear less frequently, we would be happy to use that as well.

      Hi Ghassen,
       
      The launcher label text can be changed via API, but not removed.  For customization options beyond what is available via API, you can create a custom launcher and use to the widget APIs to allow the widget to interact with it.
