How can I setup private message on Community

    Hi Abishek,

    Direct/private messaging is not currently available on our community platform, nor is it on the development roadmap at this time.

    Is this a feature we can request somewhere? Our company would benefit from private messaging between users as well.

    This would be the correct post to share your feedback around this functionality :) I would recommend sharing your use-case to give our Product Managers a better understanding of what you're trying to accomplish.

    Hello everyone. For us, a 1:1 communication opportunity for users to get in touch with each other without making it transparent would also be a key feature to actually sign up for zendesk.

    The use-case is having a network for our users all in one place: News from our side, public discussions but also private 1:1 or group messages to get in touch with other users for example to discuss confidential topics. 

    The cherry on top would be some kind of feed for the users to have everything in one place.

    So this is not just about customer service or help center anymore but rather having the idea of networks in mind. Basically something like LinkedIn just for our users. There are other services out there that offer this - for example tribe.so. But then they are lacking behind on the service and help center topics. I'd like to have everything combined.

    Any further questions? :) Would be awesome to have this soon. Maybe the support chat can be reused for this.
