Question about Tymeshift API vs Reports API EAP

My company is interested in sync'ing data between Tymeshift and our backend data warehouse.  I just signed up for the Reports API EAP, yet I have a couple questions about the API:

1. What is the difference between the Tymeshift API endpoints documented here (https://api.tymeshift.com/) vs what will be provided in the Reports API EAP?

2. Will OAuth API access be provided in either API?  It does not appear that the current Tymeshift API provides for either api-token or oauth (just un/pw?) so curious on the method of auth that this EAP will support.
