We’re introducing a new Forecast tab in the Automated resolution usage dashboard to give you clear insight into how your recent activity may impact your allowance. With forecasting, you can better understand:
- Your projected daily usage rate
- Whether you’re likely to exceed your allowance
- When you could reach your limit
- How far over your allowance you may go

What is changing?
We’ve added a new Forecast tab to the Automated resolution usage dashboard. The Forecast tab provides:
- A forecasted daily usage rate based on your recent activity
- Your projected total usage by renewal
- An estimated limit reach date, including the number of days remaining (if you’re projected to exceed your allowance)
- The number of automated resolutions you may go over your limit
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Automated resolutions operate within a usage-based allowance model. Customers have told us they want clearer insight into:
- When they might reach their limit
- How much over their allowance they could go
This update provides greater predictability and could help you plan ahead and reduce the risk of unexpected overages before renewal.
What do I need to do?
No action is required. The updated Forecast tab will automatically appear in your Automated Resolution usage dashboard in the admin centre.
We recommend periodically reviewing the Forecast tab to monitor projected usage and determine whether you may need to add additional automated resolutions before reaching your limit. For full details about how forecasting works, See Monitoring automated resolution usage.
