We're excited to announce the general availability of Google Drive as a knowledge source. You can now connect Google Drive to your Zendesk account to make its content available wherever external content is used.

What is changing?

You can now connect Google Drive as an external knowledge source to your Zendesk account, making its content available wherever external content is used. This expands the content sources available to you, enabling access to your existing Google Drive content across your knowledge experiences.

Why is Zendesk making this change?

We're making it easier to reuse existing knowledge from the different sources your organization already uses and leverage it within Zendesk. Now, your AI agents, search, and generative search can tap into your Google Drive knowledge.

What do I need to do?

You can create a Google Drive connection on any Zendesk Suite or Knowledge plan. For more information, see the following resources:
