We are moving the search tabs and saved searches to a more efficient search side panel. The move centralizes search tabs and saved searches in a unified experience that we plan to expand with more capabilities in the future.

What is changing?
Saved searches and filtering your Support search results by content record type (tickets, users, and the like) are moving from the top toolbar and tabs, respectively, to a left-side search panel. Functionality for these elements has not changed – just the location.

Why is Zendesk making this change?
We are unifying experiences across Zendesk and this will give a more familiar experience as you may be used to in Views. This also allows us to consolidate functionality in one location for search and gives us more scalability to expand search functionality.
What do I need to do?
No action is required. The change will automatically be reflected in your account and you will be able to use the side panel right away. You can also expand and collapse the side panel to get more visual space for your list of tickets.
