We’re excited to announce that views will now automatically refresh at one-minute intervals.
This article includes the following sections:
What is changing?
Previously, agents had to manually refresh views to see new tickets and updates. In some cases, views would also refresh when a ticket tab was closed, but keeping data current still depended on extra actions.
Now, views automatically refresh every minute, with no action required. As a result, the sidebar counts and the open view ticket table stay up to date, and when agents return to the Views page after being away, the latest data loads immediately.
For bulk actions, auto-refresh pauses while rows are selected and resumes once the selection is cleared, so agents can keep their selection without interruption.
This update helps agents spend less time manually refreshing views and makes it easier to work with current ticket data.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
We’re making this change in response to long-standing customer requests for views that stay current without manual effort. Our customers have told us they expect more timely, accurate data so agents can trust what they see and act with confidence.
By reducing the need for manual refreshes, we’re helping teams save time, limit repetitive actions, and focus more on supporting customers. This update is designed to improve agent efficiency while delivering a smoother, more reliable experience.
What do I need to do?
No action is required.
This change will roll out to accounts gradually. Once the change is available in your account, your views and customer list verification icons will refresh automatically every minute.
