Zendesk is excited to introduce 10 new action builder connectors that help teams automate workflows across IT service management, CRM, ERP, HR, marketing, and analytics.
This announcement includes the following topics:
What's changing?
Zendesk is introducing ten new connectors for action builder, enabling teams to automate more workflows across the tools they use every day. Together, these connectors help organizations build end-to-end automation that spans departments, reduces manual work, and keeps information flowing between systems.
The new connectors include:
- ServiceNow enables incident and case management across platforms, allowing teams to create, update, and synchronize ITSM workflows between Zendesk and ServiceNow.
- monday.com, Microsoft Planner, and Azure DevOps help support and engineering teams automatically create tasks, track issues, and keep project status synchronized without manual handoffs.
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Dynamics 365 Business Central bring CRM and ERP automation into Zendesk workflows, allowing teams to sync customer records, create invoices, and manage sales pipelines directly from tickets.
- HiBob automates HR workflows such as onboarding, time-off tracking, and employee record management.
- Iterable triggers personalized marketing campaigns and tracks customer engagement events based on support interactions.
- New Relic enables technical operations and data teams to query observability data and create alerts, while Snowflake provides direct access to data warehouse queries and insights.
Why is Zendesk making this change?
Organizations increasingly need to connect customer service operations with systems across IT service management, finance, engineering, HR, marketing, and data analytics. These new connectors address those needs by:
- Unifying ITSM and service operations so incidents and cases stay updated.
- Accelerating cross-functional workflows through automated task creation, status updates, and information sharing.
- Reducing manual data entry and errors by syncing customer records, employee data, and business transactions.
- Bringing observability metrics, analytics queries, and campaign engagement data into support workflows.
- Improving employee service delivery through automated HR processes triggered by service requests.
- Strengthening customer engagement through connected marketing automation and follow-up journeys.
By connecting these business platforms to action builder, teams can deliver faster, more accurate service using the tools they use every day.
What do I need to do?
These connectors are being rolled out to all accounts with access to action flows. For more information, see Understanding the action builder and action flows.
