In Sell there are two types of permissions for users: Basic and Advanced.
Basic permissions in Sell - let you choose between either full access or limited access levels for your users in Sell, (read about the default access levels in Sell, in Understanding access levels and privileges in Sell).
Advanced permissions in Sell - on the two highest Sell plans, you can enable advanced permissions for a greater scope of actions. For example, you can:
-
Manage the user hierarchy of your organization.
This means you can set up a team structure with users of different levels, to precisely control who can access different types of information. For more information, see Creating a team structure (user hierarchy) in Sell and Working with groups and teams in Sell.
-
Assign permissions to users for specific actions.
You can decide who has view-only access, and who can add, update, or delete leads, contacts and deals.
-
Set up and assign custom roles with advanced permissions.
You can create custom roles and assign them to multiple users so they have the same level of permissions. For more information, see Setting up a role with advanced permissions in Sell and Assigning a user to a role.
