You can export data with Zendesk Sell, including data that relates to:

  • Leads
  • Contacts
  • Deals
  • Notes
  • Tasks
  • Your full account

You can also export smart lists. See Exporting a smart list.

You cannot export activity history, appointments, emails, call logs, and documents.

Exporting your data

Admins can export data from Sell, and, if granted, all users can export data (see Granting permission to export in Sell).

If your export includes a Company ID field that contains a value different than the value for the Contact person, then the Company ID value will not be included in the export.

By default, the Parent Company and Parent Company ID system fields aren't included when you implement a full export. However, you can get these fields by exporting a smart list.

To export your data

  1. On the Sell sidebar, click the Settings () icon, then click Data > Export.
  2. In Account Export, click Export.

An email with a link to download all your data is provided in CSV format. You can go back to the Export panel to review and download all exports on your account from the last 30 days.

Granting permission to export in Sell

If your users don’t see the option to export in Sell, you can enable the account for export. You must be an admin to enable data exporting in Sell.

To enable export

  1. On the Sell sidebar, click the Settings () icon, then click Data > Export.
  2. Select Export Options.
  3. Click the dropdown menu to enable smart list exports and select All Users.
  4. Click Save.

All users can now export data in Sell.
